Following decision adopted in its National Council meeting of Dec. 05, 2011 in Victoria City, Fako County, under the Chairmanship of Chief Ayamba Ette Otun;
The National Council held its ordinary meeting in Bamenda on January 14 and 15, 2012, which due to unexplained reasons of absence by National Chairman, as happened in Buea during the 1st October 2011 historic commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Southern Cameroons confiscated independence by La Republique du Cameroun, the meeting was presided over by the constitutional National Vice Chairman, Nfor Ngala Nfor in conformity with Section 13.3(2)(ii).

Fellow Southern Cameroonians, my fellow brothers and sisters of our dear fatherland. As I present this message to you this December, I feel the birth of a new spirit in our midst, a spirit that comes only with the birth of a special person like Jesus Christ. So, Happy Xmas to all.Fellow compatriots, fellow Southern Cameroonians. As you are quite aware, some of us had been earlier exposed to these brutes very early in life. I had been molested and tormented by them when I used to drive myself to Yaoundé to carry out my Books business. As an Anglophone, I was called names and given the treatments reserved only for slaves and a captives. So, if we formed the Social Democratic Front ( SDF), it was our last attempt to manage this “” and see how we could patch it up, especially as some of our brothers across the Mungo are in worse trouble than we are.

Since 2001 when the Southern Cameroons National Council (SCNC), the non-violent liberation movement fighting for the independence of the former UN Trust Territory of British Southern Cameroons annexed and occupied by La Republique du Cameroun, commemorated its Independence Day October 1^st, this day has remained a hot divide between the two Cameroons.
